Yes, you are welcome to send a friend or family member to pick-up your Race Package if you are not able to attend Package Pick-Up. Be sure to send a signed note authorizing this individual to pick-up your Race Package. Race Packages will not be given to anyone other than the registered participant without the proper authorization. There will be absolutely no race day package pick-up and race packages will not be mailed out in advance.
Yes, walkers are permitted 10 km, Half-Marathon and Marathon event distances of the Saskatchewan Marathon. Walkers will start at 7:00 a.m. with all other participants but MUST start at the back of the Start "Pack" in order to avoid hazardous collisions. Please be reminded that the Saskatchewan Marathon course is open from 7:00 a.m. until 1:00 p.m. (6 hours). Later finishers will be required to finish on the sidewalk without support. Course timing closes at 1:00 p.m.
Yes! All Sask Marathon routes are wheelchair-accessible.
The Saskatchewan Marathon Course will be open for 6 hours. Later finishers will be required to finish on the sidewalk and without the support of Aid Stations and Course Marshals. Later finishers will not receive an official chip time.
Race day parking for Marathon participants and spectators will be available free of charge at the Mall at Lawson Heights (134 Primrose Dr.).
While the Saskatchewan Marathon does take place in the relatively flat prairie province of Saskatchewan, participants can expect some hills along the course.
Yes, the Saskatchewan Marathon Course is certified and recognized as a qualifier for the Boston Marathon.
The Saskatchewan Marathon, Half-Marathon and 10 km courses will have aid stations spaced approximately 3 kilometres apart. Each aid station will have water and Gu Brew.

The Saskatchewan Marathon strongly recommends that if you believe you will require any medications or pharmaceuticals including items such as Tylenol, Advil , or the like, that you plan for and bring your own. For situations that require emergency medical attention, MD Ambulance will be onsite and available.
Restroom facilities will be located at the Start/Finish Line Location and will be available at all Aid Stations.
We strongly recommend that participants NOT use audio devices during the race. Although you may listen to music during training, you quickly become a hazard to yourself and over 3,000 other participants on race day when you cannot hear what is taking place around you.

Yes, Participant Bag Drop will be located near the Start Line. Participant’s bags will be identified with their bib number. Please be sure to retrieve your bag by the official close of the Saskatchewan Marathon course at 1:00 p.m.
